'Beyond Sunday: Lites'
Our 'Beyond Sunday: Lites' is about how we shine in our community and in the world around us, and how we share the good news of Jesus Christ and live out Kingdom realities.
The Regeneration Project currently sponsor two children through Compassion UK, we will be posting some of the letters that we have received from these children and their families.
In December 2007 we organised bags for the homeless of Croydon, the bags included a hat, gloves, a scarf, socks, and underwear. These bags were delivered to, The Salvation Army and The Family Justice Centre, both in Croydon, who distributed them.
In Spring 2008 we took a group of young people paintballing in Sevenoaks.
In August 2008 we volunteered at the Roehampton Festival on the Alton Estate, which is organised by Regenerate UK and other associated groups - click here to see photographs of this event.
In August 2008 we supported and helped to organise a Street Party in Mitcham, being held by one of our Lead Pastor's. Click here to see photographs of this event.
In December 2008 we organised food boxes for vulnerable elderly individuals who live in Croydon, the boxes included tins of soup, salmon, fruit, biscuits, chocolates, cakes, tea, sugar and other such items. These boxes were delivered to Croydon Neighbourhood Care Association, who distributed them.
In May 2009 the women of the Regeneration Project raised money for cancer researching by taking part in the 5kim Race for Life at Lloyd Park, Croydon. Click here to see photographs of this event.
